Cambridge Massachusetts is well known around the world as it is home to both Massachusetts Institute of Technology as well as prestigious Harvard University.
Located along the Charles River, Cambridge has been dubbed “The City of Squares” as there are many squares found throughout. Some squares include Harvard, Inman, Central and Kendall Squares. Each square offers something unique in its personality yet all boast numerous services, shops and entertainment.
Cambridge has grown into a center for technology. In the 1980’s companies like Lotus had opened a location in Cambridge. Over the years other firms such as Genzyme, Biogen and Novartis had set up shop in the area. Today, the Kendall Square area is filled with numerous firms like Google, Microsoft and Amazon who are making the area an innovation district for these types of businesses.
